I'm using FOP2 on a virtual server running Debian 4. When attempting to run fop2_server I get the following:
-bash: ./fop2_server: No such file or directory
(yes, I'm in the proper directory and fop2_server permissions are set 0751.)
Thanks,

Is your tmp directory mounted with noexec? If so, check the FAQ for a workaround. If not, I am not sure what the problem might be... maybe running fop2_server under strace will give you a hint.
Problem solved. I'm a bit embarrassed but I'd just never run into this before. I hadn't realised, or maybe forgotten, that my virtual server was 64-bit. I had been trying the 32-bit code. Interesting that attempting to run 32-bit code on a 64-bit machine would have the file simply appear missing but live and learn.
Thanks,
