glibc-2.8-8.i686 -> package

  1. 15 years ago

    Hi,

    I am under fedora 9 Kernel Version 2.6.27.25-78.2.56.fc9.i686 glibc-2.8-8.i686.
    Processor AMD Athlon(tm) 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 5200+

    I downloaded and installed fop2-001-amd64-glibc2.5-centos5.tgz.

    When I try to start fop I get:
    [root@ns Asterisk]# /usr/local/fop2/fop2_server --test
    bash: /usr/local/fop2/fop2_server: cannot execute binary file

    -rwxr-x--x 1 root root 5816499 2009-07-03 12:28 fop2_server

    What's wrong?
    Thanks for your help.

    Have a nice day,
    Jean-Louis

    You will have to wait for FC9 version.. libc is newer than on centos 5, so I have to repackage fop for that platform. I also think that Fedora uses a debugging perl, that also needs to be corrected (as on centos 4) because fop2 will not run under a debugging perl. Besides, a non debugging perl is much faster. That means that fedora version will take some time to produce as I also need to repackage perl rpms with debugging turned off.

    I will be working on ubuntu versions 8 and probably 9, and then on fedora. check back next week and see if I had it available on the download page.

    Best regards,
