I have tried and there doesn't seem to be a way.
What I'll do instead is send a 1 word variable and astdb will set the correct caller id based on the word received.
Not perfect, but it works and it's more conveniant to have them there.
Thanks!
We purchased the speed dial plugin but noticed it's only 1 speed dial list for the entire system (we have the license with multi-tenants). Is there a way to have each user have their own speed dials just like they can with the phonebook?
The phonebook option is not bad, but it would be nice if it can be fixed in the panel just like the call history plugin. If the speed dial per extension is not possible, would this option be possible?
Also I noticed my layout is not the same as the videos on the website. At the top right I do not have the button to open the phonebook, call history or logout...I must go through the drop down menu. The visual phonebook does not open full screen either like shown in the video, it just stays on the right of the screen as a slide-in menu. Let me know if there is a setting for this.
Edit: Worst case scenario is there a way to have the contact panel stay open full time and have the page end there so that sections can't be stretched underneath it?
Thanks
I am using the originatevariables= option to pass variables to asterisk but it seems to trunk out any spaces.
Example, I am setting CIDNAME=FIRST LAST, but it shows up as FIRSTLAST without the space. I have tried "FIRST LAST", 'FIRST LAST', but it did not work.
Is there any way to make it work?
Thanks
