Javascript console showed that the computer could not connect,
after a networking restart, everything was resolved.
    Thank you for the help!

    netstat -lnp | grep 444
    tcp 0 0 0.0.0.0:4445 0.0.0.0:* LISTEN 17441/fop2_server
    tcp 0 0 0.0.0.0:4446 0.0.0.0:* LISTEN 7735/perl

Fop2 server is up and running

    should output be 0.0.0.0?

also, this is on local network, there is no firewall/gateway in question

You guessed right, moving those files worked.
Now I'm stuck at the connecting to server forever problem.
Fop2 reads fine from AMI, and I took a quick look at the fop2.cfg file and the user/password is fine.

Any idea how to go about debugging this issue?

I installed the newest centos 32 bit from rpm

the previous installation through elastix was missing the fop2.cfg file, so we did a reinstallation to generate new files.

make install went through fine though

Did a reinstallation, tested fop2 in verbose mode, came up just fine.
Though when I try to access the GUI, I get the "Flash Player Required!"

Tested from multiple PCs with flash installed and checked on abobe's site.
Used IE, chrome, firefox, Opera, everything you could imagine. This is not a browser issue

    What could have broken?

jrecho started the conversation Manager Connection Error.

I am running Elastix and installed the FOP2 Module and when I open my FOP2 all my buttons are there yet it gives me a popup that Manager Connection Error. And I see no events. So its basically just a list of buttons.

I have checked the op2.cfg and everything looks fine it is listening to port 4446.

    [root@as4 fop2]# /usr/local/fop2/fop2_server --test

I am using elastix 2.3 with FreePBX 2.8 and when I do locate php.ini all I find in one file locates in the /etc/ directory

I simply added the line to the end of the file and it fixed my issue of labels. Now my next question how to I link FOP@ to the recording so that I can use it to listen to recorder calls.

    I was not able to find max_input_vars = in php.ini in /etc/

jrecho started the conversation Button not saving Group names FreePBX and Elastix.

I have noticed that when I go to buttons and give a bunch of extension a Group name so that it will keep them together on the FOP2 screen it ignores what I typed as soon as I save the data is deleted and the Groups field is empty.

Before in Trixbox I used to do all of this in the Buttons.cfg file which worked fined but since we migrated to a new server Elastix 2.3 with FreePBX2.8 it does not work.
