Greetings!
Is there a way to hide the status of one extension but keep the button on the FOP2 panel? IE: not show orange when one extension is making a call or display the called number.
Thanks!
Likely, it's something not on FOP2's end but when I check a message and, say, delete it, FOP2 still shows that there is a new message.
Any ideas?
Thanks again and fantastic job on FOP2!
I was reading the user manual and it mentioned that if I clicked a button, it should turn red. It is turning blue. I saw a different post where you offered a solution to add "all" permissions in /etc/asterisk/manager.conf file , both in read/write lines. I did that. I even rebooted the system but no luck.
Any hints? :)
Greetings,
I see in most of the videos and instructions on how to use the FOP2 WebGUI, people are able to click the button beside an extension to get a dropdown box of options (i believe it's called the Action submenu).
All that I get is a line. Any ideas? Please see my screenshot where I clicked beside 10 Kim-Man:

How exiting!
I set it up as shown below.

Thanks again! Works like a charm!
I'm new but learning a lot. Thanks
Oh sorry. Yes I ran /usr/local/fop2/fop2_server --test and got a result of "Connection to manager OK!"
When I ran /usr/local/fop2/autoconfig-buttons-freepbx.sh, I get:

I'm sure I'm bloody close. It must be something simple by this point.
Thanks for your help so far.
NOTHING SHOWS? or just Dahdi? Do you have sip extensions? Do you see any activity for them? IF nothing shows, you most probably have problems with your asterisk manager settings.
/usr/local/fop2/fop2_server --test
That will test the manager connection. Also be sure you have all permissions in /etc/asterisk/manager.conf
I see buttons of my extensions but no activity at all. I do not have any sip extensions. I do have some fake extensions that I am using for forwarding to cell phones using follow me but they are simple.
Here is my manager.conf (user/pass changed).

I'm a little confused again.
You said a range goes in the channel spots?
Here is my situation. I have 3 trunks. Lets call them ZAP/21, ZAP/22, and ZAP/23. They happen to be on channel 21, 22, and 23 (or pinned out as such on my Digium TDM2400P as Port 21, 22, and 23)
Does each one get their own channel number? IE: OUT_2, Labeled:ZAP/23, Privacy:None, Zap/Dahdi Channels (Eg: 1-24): 23
Yes. I was talking about trunks. Sorry, I was new to the interface so I got the channels and trunks mixed up. I'll give it a go tomorrow.
Oh ok. I'll take another look.
What about channels? None of my zap channels (extensions) show any activity either. Nothing seems to be monitored. I'm sure I'm missing a simple setting but if you could point me in the right direction, that would be great!
In a perfect world, I could see if someone is on a certain phone at any time.
Thanks!
PS: Fantastic project! Keep up the good work.
