I''m trying to install FOP2 on asterisk 1.4.44, but it isn't working properly.
When I try to access the web interface it shows the message below:
"Connecting to server, attempt number : 1"
Can anybody tell me if it is possible to install FOP2 on asterisk 1.4.44? If so, what have I done wrong?

fop2 works fine on asterisk 1.4 or even 1.2
You are confusing client connection issues with asterisk compatibility, they are not related at all. Your problem is that your browser cannot connect to the fop2 server. (The fop2 server could be not connected to asterisk and it will still let web clients to connect to it).
Why you cannot connect? A number of possible reasons that were discussed in this forum like, not sure, maybe 200 times. Probably more. I will leave you one of such post for your reference:
