Shockwave 11.5.502.135 breaks FF login

  1. 11 years ago

The new version of Shockwave FF Plugin 11.5.502.135 interferes with logging into the panel.

After entering your login credentials, the screen continually shows:

One moment please Connecting to server, attempt number : 1

Confirmed on multiple versions of Firefox on multiple clients to multiple installations of FOP2

What fop2 version are you using? The more recent versions can use websockets instead of flash xmlsockets. Anyways, the best browser right now to use FOP2 is chrome as Firefox is a little bit too strict when dealing with the unfinished websocket implementation.

  3. version 2.26

    I have installed version:

    11.5.502.136

And I do not have any problems (osx version)

You might have a flash blocker or firewall preventing connections to port tcp/4445 on the server. Or perhaps 135 has a bug and 136 fixed it, try to update your version.

    Best regards,

  5. this was a websocket issue. somehow var disableWebSocket got un-set in presence.js

    for reference:

when I blocked port 4445, i was shown an increasing number on the server attempt instead of a static '1'

.136 on osx is the same release as .135 on windows (no idea why)

What fop2 version are you running? You must be running always the latest if you want to avoid websocket issues.
